Ezy Outsourcing Hub is looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the overall design an d direction of the website and app development
- Creation of new websites using WordPress
- Customize websites and applications based on the specifications given – preferably using Laravel framework
- Build database schema and website architecture
- Maintain, update and troubleshoot existing code base created using Codeigniter, Laravel and WordPress
- Conduct trial runs of websites, software applications and programs to ensure they produce desirable outcomes expected by the client
- Compile and write documentation of website/app development and subsequent revisions, such as inserting comments in the coded instructions, which other or future developers can use as a reference
- Consult with engineering and technical personnel to clarify intent, processes, as well as, identify problems, fix bugs and recommend changes
- Serve as a technical liaison for the other members of the web team
- Knowledgeable in Component – Based website architecture on both front-end and back-end development.
- Knowledgeable in server-side configuration of website hosting and server-side performance
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
- At least 2 years of solid PHP development experience is required
- Advanced knowledge of CodeIgniter and Laravel framework
- Advanced knowledge of WordPress core (plugins, themes, front-end, backend, WooCommerce)
- Proficiency in all front-end web languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript,Vue.js) as well as libraries such as jQuery and jQuery UI
- Demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE)
- Experience using HTML5 based framework
- Experience working with relational databases (creating, manipulating and migrating data), specifically MySQL and phpMyAdmin
- Understand best API practices and server communication
- Experience working in Linux environments
- Experience in using all web debugging tools within the browser
- Experience producing secure OOP, server side code – specifically PHP
- Proficient in large scale version control, specifically GIT
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience in developing responsive websites
- Knowledge with web page load time optimization and current web design tools and trends
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Desire to work in a startup & exciting environment
